Terms and Conditions

The representations of the various products are limited in the resolution of the image and cannot give a fully accurate representation of the colour and shades of the goods offered for sale due to the limitations of any visual display equipment.
Due to the uniqueness and hand made finish too many of the products offered for sale the dimensions, colour and shading may vary slightly for each item.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in sterling and include vat at the current rate. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted but will be shown at the checkout before final submission. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards using PROTEX SECURE PAYMENT GATEWAY one of the largest processors in the UK and are approved by all the major UK banks.
 We will accept a cheque with a bank card number on the back for purchases within the UK. We will not despatch the goods until the cheque has cleared the bank - this can take between 7 and 10   *working*   days.
You will be e-mailed on receipt of order and payment.


CANCELLATION


You can cancel your order up to the time of dispatch by e-mail or telephone.


DISPATCHES AND DELIVERY

 We aim to deliver within 2-5 working days.
Please note - we are only able to deliver goods to the card holders billing address.
For security reasons, a signature will be required to acknowledge receipt of the goods.
Delivery is by courier
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to the purchaser once they are delivered.


INSPECTION


It shall be the responsibility of the buyer to inspect and check all goods immediately on delivery to ensure that such goods are those ordered by the buyer and are in good order. Discrepancies shall be reported to the seller by email ,  telephone or letter within 7 days of receipt of the order. If the buyer fails to do so they will be deemed to have accepted the goods.

FAULTY GOODS


If you receive an item from us which is faulty  please contact us by telephone or email to inform us within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange a refund or replacement.
In the event of you returning goods to us we will pay you the cost of the return postage. We   ask that you send items back to us via Royal mail second class (recorded), but occasionally   items may have to be picked up by courier service. Please obtain a proof of posting and price receipt from your Post office to enable us to process the refund for your return postage costs.


Delivery Costs        

Delivery cost can be viewed at the checkout.. We charge by weight/size   bands, therefore   depending on the weight and  size of your order will determine the cost.

RETURNS


14 Day Returns Policy  for online sales
Goods may be returned to Lighthouse Pottery up to 14 days after date of purchase for a full refund or exchange provided that  :
1. The goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.
2. The goods are a normal stock item and have not been specially ordered at the customer's request.
3. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is produced.
4. Items are returned by a tracked method, eg.   Recorded  Delivery and  adequately insured.
For all returns you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.  Please pack the goods securely and clearly mark whether you would like a refund or exchange.   This does not effect your statutory rights.

Delivery and collection charges are not refundable.

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS


Jewellery used in piercing.
Items ordered in for customers, (unless faulty).
Clothing which has been worn, (unless faulty).

NON STOCKED ITEMS


A deposit will required for the order of non stock items, to be agreed when ordered.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS


We make every effort to make sure that the information on our site is accurate and up to date. We will promptly correct any errors brought to our attention.
